Courses, Homework & Complete Grading Workflows!​

This is a major update that expands Lessons into a complete course and grading platform. It introduces Teaching Assistants, private homework, advanced grading and transcripts, flexible course requirements, paid access, dedicated lesson forums, richer quizzes, and a redesigned course experience.

New Features​

• Added a complete Teaching Assistant grading workflow with classroom-level TA pools, automatic or manual assignment, assignment-scoped grading access, and automatic grading team permissions.
• Added a Homework lesson type with private submissions, attachments, TA review, revision requests, resubmission, grading, regrading, and optional editing before review.
• Added per-lesson Sub-grades with named homework scores, automatic averaging, bulk grading, revision history, and student-visible breakdowns.
• Added centralized Grade Weights management with an exact 100% total requirement before final grades are published.
• Added a student-facing Grade Transcript with lesson-group subtotals, weighted scores, grader comments, current averages, final grades, and pending items.
• Added a private global Manage Grades dashboard where teaching assistants can manage assigned students and administrators with grading permission can review all students.
• Added a general Requirementssystem for lessons, sections, and courses with multiple conditions, All/Any matching, circular-dependency protection, and extensible condition types.

Improvements​

• Renamed Classrooms to Courses throughout the public and admin UI.
• Public course URLs now use /courses/ instead of /lessons/ through a route filter. Administrators can edit or remove the filter to retain /lessons/.
• Reworked the course enrollments page with progress, activity details, status labels, and Gradebook-style summary metrics.
• Added Gradebook-style metrics to lesson completions with latest quiz results and direct result links.
• Added a global access-expiry mode that can preserve lifetime course access while limiting support, homework submission, and grading to the purchased support period.
• Added a live access countdown to course and lesson expiry warnings.
• Redesigned course grid cards with clearer images, metadata, and statistics.
• Added an optional landing-page course overview layout with a classic-layout fallback.
• Improved the Active Courses widget with clearer progress percentages, compact progress bars, and direct continue links.
• Added options to restrict course lessons and student lists to enrolled students.
• Added an option to hide the course navigation sidenav on overview and category pages.
• Restricted member profile course progress and completion statistics to the student and administrators with global grading permission.
• Limited remote image downloads to the configured attachment size.

Bug Fixes​

• Fixed deleted and unapproved courses and lessons being visible without the appropriate permissions.
• Fixed student progress after moving completed lessons between courses.
• Fixed enrollment progress being lost when lesson completions used stale cached data.
• Fixed enrollment totals after removing a student from a course.
• Fixed progress and completion counters after deleting lesson completions.
• Fixed overlapping quiz answer and completion requests producing inconsistent results.
• Fixed direct upgrades from 2.2.1 attempting to rebuild grade caches before the complete grading schema was available.

This update adds quiz-based lessons, richer enrollment progress tracking, inactivity reminders, and new classroom limits, while also improving video lesson support and classroom presentation.
