🎉 Faster Downloads, Better Progress Tracking!​

This update moves large media exports to the background, allowing members to continue browsing while archives are prepared. It also adds automatic export cleanup and includes several reliability and performance improvements.

✨ New Features​

  • Large album, bulk, and All User Media ZIP downloads are now generated in the background using XenForo's job queue.
  • Added a progress page that automatically tracks archive generation and redirects to the completed download.
  • Added an export retention option to control how long completed archives are kept before deletion.
  • Added a frequent cron job to automatically remove expired and abandoned export archives.

🔧 Improvements​

  • Improved archive generation by using XenForo's stream-to-temporary-file helper.

🐞 Bug Fixes​

  • Fixed filename truncation when downloading a single media item.
  • Fixed ETag handling for album downloads, allowing conditional (304) caching to work correctly.
  • Fixed ETag generation for bulk and user media downloads to correctly represent the entire archive.
  • Fixed the media_count column on the download log entity incorrectly defaulting to the current timestamp instead of 0.
