📚 Track Your Reading & Follow Your Favorite Authors!​

This update expands personal reading tools with private progress tracking and author watching, while adding new ways to discover books and interact with lists. It also includes important privacy, permissions, and data consistency fixes.

✨ New Features​

  • Added private reading progress in pages or percentages, with optional start dates, progress reset, and explicit completion from book pages and personal reading lists.
  • Added Author Watching with notification modes, alerts and emails, watched-author management, email unsubscribe, and read-aware comment notifications.
  • Added compact Favorite, Finished, Backlog, and Reading controls to book list items for signed-in users.
  • Added featured ribbons and Feature / Unfeature inline moderation actions for books and book lists.
  • Added configurable one-to-five-poster previews for list overview rows, with placeholders for empty positions.
  • Added an optional calendar carousel that groups releases sharing the same date in the month view.
  • Added a poster-list display style for the Latest Lists widget with title, author, and date information.
  • Added a Random Book action to the overview page for opening a book the visitor can view.

  • Fixed author book lists, counts, genres, and bibliography ratings exposing books from inaccessible categories.
  • Fixed shared lists being accessible without their required access key.
  • Fixed rejected quotations creating orphan characters before validation.
  • Fixed quotation tags missing from the search index and tag search results.
  • Fixed related data and user rating counts remaining after content deletion.
  • Fixed list counts and previews remaining outdated after content deletion.
  • Fixed removing existing items from lists that had reached their item limit.
  • Fixed the What's New lists page calling a nonexistent list item macro.
  • Fixed book list views not being transferred from the view buffer to the list counter and activity log.
