Better Guide Creation & Step-by-Step Reading​

This update makes it much easier to turn existing threads into structured guides, while adding richer steps, per-forum configuration, interactive checklists, navigation, and new presentation options.

New Features​

• Added an editor action to move existing first-post attachments into guide steps without re-uploading them.
• Added image uploads while converting an existing thread to the Guide type.
• Added per-forum Guide prefix controls with available prefixes and a default prefix.
• Added per-forum requirement kind presets with a custom kind option for guide authors.
• Added a per-forum option allowing guide steps to contain only a title or only a description.
• Added an interactive checklist for required tools and supplies.
• Added optional captions for individual step attachments, including lightbox and converted BB code output.
• Added an optional thumbnail carousel for steps with multiple attachments, configurable per forum.
• Added an optional duration in minutes for individual guide steps.
• Added configurable guide cover display modes and a maximum cover width style property.
• Added an optional sticky Step X of Y reading indicator, enabled by default.
• Added optional Previous Guide and Next Guide navigation between visible guides in the same forum.
• Added optional description and yield fields for HowTo structured data, with the first post used as the description fallback.
• Added a configurable first post importer when converting an existing thread into a Guide, with suggested mappings for BB code lists, numbered lines, headings, and adjacent attachments.

Improvements​

• Moved the Guide to thread conversion setting from global add-on options to individual forum settings.

Bug Fixes​

• Fixed imported attachments being converted from ATTACH BB code to IMG links in the step editor.
• Fixed first-post importing not correctly preserving retained BB code, requirement context, heading removal, draft identity, and attachment controls.

• Added an option to preserve guide content as BB code when changing to another thread type.
• Added Guide data duplication when copying a guide's first post to a new thread.

• Added an optional top Start/Continue guide progress button
• Added an optional expanded rating block with rating distribution

• Added a Top Guides forum sidebar widget with compact ratings and configurable display styles.
