Features:
Layout Builder:
Rows, Columns and Blocks: Build structured pages on a 12-column grid, with separate column widths for narrow screens.- π± Drag-and-Drop Ordering: Reorder rows, move columns between rows and move blocks between columns. Layout changes save automatically.
Column Alignment: Align columns to the top, center or bottom, stretch them to equal height, use equal auto widths and add dividers.
Page and Content Duplication: Copy a complete page or duplicate individual rows and blocks, including settings, translations and attachments. Page copies start disabled with a unique URL; row and block copies receive unique anchors.
Reusable Global Blocks: Share content across pages and update it in one place, including translations, attachments and block options. Each placement keeps its own anchor, CSS classes, visibility and audience criteria. Convert an existing block to a global block or detach a placement for independent editing.
Section Anchors: Link visitors directly to a row or content block.
Content Blocks:
BB Code and HTML: Write content with the XenForo editor, attachments, embedded images and link previews, or use raw HTML in a syntax-highlighted editor.
Calls to Action and Feature Cards: Add headings, buttons and icons to introduce community features or guide visitors to important pages.- πΌ Image Blocks: Upload GIF, JPEG, PNG or WebP images with translated alternative text and captions. Set alignment and maximum width or hide an image on narrow screens. Replace or remove language-specific images independently, with fallback to the master image.
Illustration Presets: Choose Dashboard, Code window or Community illustrations, with size and background controls, a live admin preview and optional compact display on narrow screens.
Collapsible FAQs: Add individual questions and answers with attachments, optional standard XenForo containers and an initially expanded state. Translate complete question-and-answer pairs with fallback to the master language.
Tabs: Organize BB code content into tabs with translated labels and content. Reorder tabs and choose the initially selected tab. Labels wrap on narrow screens, keyboard navigation is supported and content remains readable without JavaScript.
Statistics: Display manually entered values or XenForo member, thread and message totals in a row or as cards. Add translated labels and text before or after each number. Values use the visitor's language formatting; optional count-up animations respect reduced-motion preferences.
Instruction Steps: Present numbered steps as a vertical list or responsive cards, with plain-text descriptions and optional links. Reorder steps while retaining their translations.
Comparison Tables: Compare options and features using text or availability indicators. Choose Native table, Highlighted table or Cards appearance for each block. Add descriptions and buttons, highlight a column and translate values. Table appearances offer a scrollable table or stacked cards on mobile; Cards appearance uses responsive cards at every screen size. Reorder columns and features in the editor.
Countdowns: Display an event deadline in Tiles, Compact, Minimal, Hero, Split or Flip appearance, with optional seconds and an action button. Translate the title, description, button label and completion message, then show a message or hide the block when time expires.
Latest Threads and Featured Resources: Add forum thread listings and featured XenForo Resource Manager resources to your pages.
XenForo Widgets: Place an existing widget in any column, including widgets without an assigned display position. Continue managing its settings, translated title and display conditions in the standard widget editor.
Icon Picker: Select Font Awesome icons for feature cards and buttons through the Core Library picker or enter icon classes manually.
Block Presentation: Show or hide block titles and choose whether to use a standard XenForo block container.
Appearance and Languages:
Multilingual Pages: Translate page titles, meta descriptions and block content for each XenForo language, with fallback to the master language. Empty tab and instruction-step translations use the complete master-language item.- π₯ Full Width Pages: Remove the page width limit and optionally hide breadcrumbs and notices for landing pages.
Section Styling: Give rows full-width backgrounds, Hero, Content or Page background styles and vertical spacing.
Block Appearance Presets: Choose Default, Compact sections or Sequential blocks for pages using the Default layout. Compact sections adapts landing-page blocks to the forum width; Sequential blocks also stacks content and media columns and gives FAQs separate compact containers. These settings carry over when copying or exporting pages.- π Style Properties: Customize spacing, backgrounds, Hero sections, CTA typography, buttons, feature icons, thread panels and resource cards under Appearance > Styles > Style properties > [XB] Page Builder: Appearance. Settings apply per style, with separate narrow-screen controls where available.
Custom CSS: Add CSS classes to pages, rows, columns and blocks. Write page-specific CSS in a code editor, with rules scoped to that page and optional validation on save.
Publishing and Transfers:
Friendly Page URLs: Give every page its own URL portion, such as custom-pages/community-guide/.- π Content Visibility: Enable or disable pages, rows and blocks without deleting them.
Scheduled Publishing: Set optional start and end dates for pages and rows in your XenForo time zone. Rows follow their parent page's availability, and manually disabled content stays hidden.
SEO Metadata: Set page meta descriptions and canonical URLs, with separate controls for XenForo search and sitemap inclusion.- Social Link Previews: Set translated social titles and descriptions independently of the page title and search description, and upload one preview image shared by all languages. Empty fields use the master social text, then the ordinary page text. Page copies receive independent images. ZIP exports include images; XML transfers only text settings.
- Noindex: Add a noindex directive and exclude a page from the sitemap while retaining its access rules and XenForo search setting. Disabling noindex restores the saved sitemap inclusion setting.
Archive and XML Transfers: Export one page or all pages. ZIP archives include Image block files and attachments, with embedded attachment references and links updated on import. XML transfers page content without files. Imported pages start disabled.
XenForo Integration:
- Online Activity: Show the translated page title and a link in XenForo activity displays when the viewer can access the page. Unavailable pages retain a generic activity description.
User Criteria: Control access to whole pages and individual blocks using XenForo user criteria.
Search: Include pages in the main search and a dedicated Search pages tab. Static content and translations are searchable, and results respect page access criteria. Blocks with audience criteria and dynamic widget, thread and resource listings are excluded from indexed text.- πΊ Sitemap: Include published pages accessible to guests, using canonical URLs and last modification dates. Control sitemap inclusion separately for every page.
Widgets: Reuse existing XenForo widgets within page layouts. Widgets that need a forum, thread or resource context require a separate compatibility check; their responsive appearance depends on the widget template and your style.
Attachments: Use XenForo attachments in supported BB code content and FAQ answers, and include them in archive transfers.
Optional Resource Manager Integration: Display featured resources when XenForo Resource Manager is available.

FAQ:
How can I give a page a custom URL? Use XenForo's Route filters in the admin control panel under Setup > Route filters. For example, set Find route to custom-pages/community-guide/ and Replace with to guide/ to make the page available at /guide/.
Does every block support HTML and attachments? BB code and HTML content blocks support their respective editing modes. Specialized blocks have their own fields. Tabs accept BB code entered directly in the tab editor and do not support HTML or attachment uploads; instruction descriptions use plain text.
How do columns behave on mobile devices? Columns have separate widths for narrow screens and default to full width there. Choose a suitable column width for embedded widgets, whose layout remains controlled by their original templates and your XenForo style.
Which export format should I use to move a page to another site? Use a ZIP archive to include Image block files and attachments. XML does not include files. A FAQ answer containing only attachments cannot be transferred through XML if removing those references leaves it empty; the import is rejected. Copied pages and Image blocks receive independent image files.
Can I delete a global block that is still in use? No. Remove or detach its page placements first. Each global block can appear only once on a page, and a global block cannot contain another global block.
How are search results and translations updated? Page and block edits update the index automatically. Scheduled publication changes are processed by a task that runs every minute, subject to XenForo cron and job processing. Results use current visibility checks. Each page has one result across languages: full-text searches include translations, title-only searches use the master title, and displayed titles and snippets use the visitor's language with fallback. Existing pages can be indexed through XenForo's search index rebuild tool.- πΊ Does excluding a page from the sitemap prevent search engines from indexing it? No. Use the separate noindex option to add the directive and exclude the page from the sitemap. Neither option restricts page access. Sitemap changes appear after XenForo rebuilds the sitemap.
