Requirements​

Component	Requirement
XenForo	2.3.0 or later
[XB] Core Library	1.0.0 or later
PHP ZIP support	ZipArchive is required for ZIP import and export
XenForo Resource Manager	Optional; required for the Featured resources block

Without ZipArchive, XML transfers remain available. XML does not include uploaded files.

Install​

1. Install or update [XB] Core Library to meet the requirement.
2. Install the Page Builder release package using your site's normal XenForo add-on installation procedure.
3. Confirm that Page Builder is installed and enabled under Add-ons.
4. Open Communication > Page builder in the ACP.
5. If another administrator will maintain pages, grant their administrator account Manage page builder.

Managing XenForo widgets also requires the corresponding XenForo administrator permission. Page Builder access does not grant access to every other ACP system.

Grant Manage page builder to administrators who maintain custom pages.

Update​

Use XenForo's normal add-on update process with the new release package. Back up your site and retain a page archive when you need a portable copy of content. A page export is not a complete site backup.

After an update, open an existing page, inspect its layout and check its public output in each style and language you support.

First checks​

• The Page builder list opens.
• The builder can save a page and a block.
• The public page is accessible to its intended audience.
• Archive export is available if ZIP transfers are required.
• Featured resources is available only when Resource Manager is installed and active.
