Block reference

Use Testimonials to curate member feedback or quotes from custom authors.

Configure​

1. Choose Add block > Testimonials.
2. Add up to 12 quotes and choose a forum member or custom author for each.
3. Enter quotes, captions and custom names in the language tabs.
4. Optionally upload custom author avatars and link source posts.
5. Reorder entries, choose Cards or List, inspect the preview and save.

Setting	Behavior
Author	A forum member with a current avatar, or a custom name and optional uploaded avatar
Quote	Required text for the testimonial
Caption	Optional translated supporting text
Source post	Links a testimonial to a forum post and restricts visibility to visitors who can view it
Show caption / source	Controls the visible supporting details

Custom authors without an uploaded avatar use initials. Missing, banned or invalid member accounts are excluded. A linked source must remain visible; for a member author, the post must belong to that member. Hiding the source link does not remove these access checks.

Review authors and source posts after a transfer between sites. Entries awaiting relinking do not display. Use ZIP to carry uploaded custom avatars. See Import and export.
