Add anonymous posting and post-as-user content publishing to XenForo.

Authorized members can publish content as another registered user or under a custom guest identity without logging into the target account. Permission controls, original-author tracking, and a searchable ACP audit log keep impersonated and anonymous content accountable.

Anonymous and impersonated publishing:

Post as Another User: Create supported content under the identity of a registered XenForo member.
Anonymous or Guest Posting: Publish under a custom guest name when the separate permission is granted.
Username Autocomplete: Find the correct member from the content form instead of entering an account ID.
Identity Allowlist or Blocklist: Control which registered accounts are available as publishing identities.
Associated Content Support: Keep the selected identity when creation also generates linked content, such as a resource discussion thread.
Thread Starter Identity: Optionally publish a reply under the thread starter's identity.

Quick Reply Identity Selector: Switch between the current account, another member, and a guest identity from a native XenForo menu.
Avatar Identity Selector: Optionally open the same identity menu by clicking the quick reply avatar.
Dynamic Posting Avatar: Update the quick reply avatar to reflect the selected or restored member identity.
Remember the Last Identity: Save the selected username and identity type for faster repeated publishing.
Permission-Controlled Access: Configure registered-user and guest posting independently for supported content areas.

FAQ:

Does this add-on log staff into another user's account?

No. It changes the author of supported content during publishing without creating a login session for the selected account.
Can regular members post anonymously or impersonate another user?

Only when their user group has the relevant permission for that content type. Registered-user impersonation and custom guest identities can be controlled separately.
Is the real author retained for anonymous content?

Yes. The original creator is stored separately and can be shown to trusted users with permission or reviewed through the ACP log.
Can administrators prevent specific accounts from being impersonated?

Yes. The configured user list can operate as either a blocklist or an allowlist.
Do the optional add-on integrations require those products?

Integration features become relevant only when the corresponding XenForo add-on is installed.
Can the posting form remember the previously selected identity?

Yes. Administrators can enable saved identity selection, and the quick reply avatar can update to match a registered member.
