Start or resume

  1. Open an accessible, active quiz within its participation window.
  2. Select Play or use the embedded start block.
  3. Choose any options offered by the author, such as question count or music difficulty.
  4. Answer each question, or submit the full form in single-page mode.
  5. Complete the quiz and review the result.

An unfinished attempt can be resumed where available. Repeating a completed quiz requires repeat permission. Incomplete and guest attempts can expire under site retention settings.

Timers and navigation

A question timer applies to that question. The overall quiz timer applies to the whole attempt. At overall expiry, the quiz either completes automatically or stops accepting answers, depending on its configuration.

Previous/next navigation, answer changes and early completion depend on saved play options. Single-page mode submits several responses together; a Tournament advances through contender matches.

Review a completion

A standard result can show score, correct-answer percentage, time spent, answer details, explanations and matching feedback. Assessments use a result presentation without right/wrong indicators. Tournaments show the champion and, when enabled, the bracket.

Section results show earned points and, for knowledge quizzes, correctness progress. These are saved when completing the attempt. Historical completions without section data do not gain a retrospective breakdown.

Correct answers, explanations, feedback, analytics and other participants' records each require the relevant permissions. See categories and access and scoring.
