Will this addon upgrade the user on the XF side based on the user's Patreon subscription? (This is my preference.)

Or is the Patreon access based on the XF user upgrade side?

The first one. User upgrades on XenForo are automatically assigned and removed based on the user's Patreon subscription.
 
We're trying to set this up, but running into difficulties. What do we enter in Redirect URLs? It's a required field in the client setup.

Also, the Patreon campaign ID in the Xenforo options. Is this the username part of the Patreon campaign URL? I can't find anywhere where it uses a number like in the example.

Thanks. I think I got that bit.

I just tried hitting 'test' on the connected accounts page on Xenforo, and just get a blank result. No error, or confirmation, or anything. I don't know if that means it worked, or it didn't!

And when hitting "Sent test" on the Patreon webhook page, it says:

Status code: 403

Whatever that means. Good? Bad?

Is there any documentation for this add-on other than those screenshots up there?

This means that add-on or your web server rejected the request from Patreon

Make sure the settings you specified match your application and webhook credentials
The Webhook must get a 200 response code. Only then will entries appear in the ACP patreon webhook log.

At what stage are you having trouble?
Are the connected account and webhook working now?

If the setup was successful but memberships aren’t syncing, make sure:
- the correct Patreon membership IDs are specified in the paid upgrades settings
- if only one type of connection with a patron is selected, make sure the email matches or that the member’s account is linked to their Patreon

All requests from the webhook are logged in the ACP log if the webhook and client data are specified correctly and the web server isn’t rejecting the requests.

If there are any entries there, please let me know which ones so I can look into the details.

Ps: webhooks is only for new Pateron members. Synchronization for existing members performed by cron job (every day)

I’ve updated the settings section and the FAQ with more details, perhaps that will help
