Better Linked Account Management​

This update makes linked accounts easier to manage by allowing members to view alerts and direct messages from their other accounts without switching between them. It also introduces automatic account linking during registration, improved account menus, and new moderation and administration tools.

New Features​

• Added an option to view alerts from linked accounts without switching accounts. Alerts remain unread until explicitly marked as read (disabled by default)
• Added an option to view direct messages from linked accounts without switching accounts. Messages are displayed in read-only mode and remain unread (disabled by default)
• Added AJAX actions to mark all alerts or direct messages from a linked account as read directly from its dropdown menu
• Added an option to register and automatically link a new account from the Link Account page, with a permission controlling how many accounts a member can register (disabled by default)
• Added a moderator permission to view a member's linked accounts in a read-only profile tab
• Added an administrator permission to review outgoing and incoming account links in a read-only user edit tab
• Added a separate administrator permission to bulk unlink outgoing and incoming account links
• Added a style property to display text labels on visitor-menu login buttons (disabled by default)
• Added a style property to display unread counters for the current account (disabled by default)

Improvements​

• Updated linked-account alerts and direct messages in the visitor menu and account page to use native XenForo dropdown menus
