Recurring Events, Campaigns & Complete Reward Management!
This is a major update that transforms events and rewards with recurring schedules, multi-event campaigns, automated and claimable rewards, and a new personal rewards experience. It also expands occurrence management, calendar tools, large-scale reward delivery, and includes extensive reliability improvements across events, rewards, imports, and integrations.
Important: This version now requires
[XB] Core Library. The Core Library also adds an optional xenBaker branding link. The branding is enabled by default and can be disabled in the add-on options without payment.
New Features
- Added recurring events with daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly schedules, time zone support, and occurrence previews.
- Added multi-event campaigns with shared progress, all-events or N-of-M completion rules, one-time bonuses, stock controls, and a separate bonus deadline.
- Added a personal Rewards Dashboard with reward history, streak activity, filters, upcoming reward opportunities, claimable and recent rewards, weekly progress, and monthly activity.
- Added automatic reward delivery at the start or end of each event occurrence.
- Added per-occurrence, series-wide, and per-user reward claim limits.
- Added shared and per-occurrence reward stock, replenishment, permanent claim history, and administrator review of uncertain deliveries.
- Added resumable audience processing with delivery progress, recipient results, and safe retries without duplicate rewards.
- Added individual occurrence rescheduling and cancellation, independent reward claims, and occurrence logs.
- Added User Group Rewards using XenForo's native user group change system.
- Added event duplication with optional rewards, appearance, user criteria, and discussion threads.
- Added a persistent Calendar / List display switch with grouped upcoming events and highlighted current events.
- Added one-click iCalendar export for individual event occurrences.
- Added an option to display Daily Rewards on a dedicated page or as an account tab.
- Added WebP support for event background images.
Improvements
- Made the Campaigns page action an icon button and removed the extra tabs from the public campaign list.
- Improved the reward stock screen with a capacity summary, usage breakdown, and clearer adjustment history.
- Added reward log filters for member name, event title, occurrence date, delivery mode, and award date range.
- Redesigned the public event view with background artwork, reward cards, claim status, occurrence details, and responsive layouts.
- Redesigned the reward events widget with compact date cards, visible reward labels, improved calendar navigation, and a configurable event limit.
- Added the same view switcher to the public campaign list as the event list.
- Grouped event and campaign management under shared ACP tabs.
- Replaced the event schedule preview button with an automatically updated, expandable list of occurrence start and end dates.
- Improved reward claim limit fields with numeric controls and clearer series-wide limit guidance.
- Updated the calendar, event widget, and XML import/export to support recurring event series.
- Preserved longer-duration and permanent user upgrades when processing upgrade rewards.
- Prevented unavailable reward integrations from running.
- Added configuration support for hidden rewards.
- Moved shared FullCalendar assets and styling to [XB] Core Library.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed creating an event discussion after the event had already been saved, as well as discussion title updates
- Fixed hidden events appearing on the calendar and background events linking to pages the visitor cannot view
- Fixed calendar events requiring two clicks to open and the missing Next Year button label
- Fixed calendar event visibility and reward configuration forms
- Fixed administrator permission checks for reward management and ACP pages being incorrectly restricted to super administrators
- Fixed duplicate reward submissions by making reward claims transactional
- Fixed reward logs, counters, daily streaks, and user criteria
- Fixed timed user upgrades, conversation handling, and locked reward threads
- Fixed reward list filtering, filtered totals, page titles, and hidden reward icons
- Fixed XML event exports and XML imports preserving disabled states, hidden rewards, and descriptions
- Prevented partial event and reward XML imports when validation fails, and rejected malformed JSON instead of silently discarding event restrictions
- Fixed event colors, deletion settings, and background image cleanup
- Fixed event times changing when editing multi-day events
- Fixed event facts alignment on public event pages
- Fixed reward claims using outdated reward settings or accepting expired user upgrade rewards
- Fixed notifications for reward threads and replies after successful claims
- Fixed multiple DragonByte Shop rewards sharing configuration values and reward titles bypassing translated Shop phrases
- Fixed untranslated Direct Message reward labels on XenForo 2.3
- Fixed batch actions failing when no events or rewards were selected
