Start with the page URL, intended visitor, current language and active style. Those four details explain many differences between the ACP and public output.

Symptom	Checks and next action
Page builder is missing from the ACP	Confirm the add-on is enabled and the administrator has Manage page builder
View returns a not-found page	Check Enabled, publication start/end and the page URL; View does not bypass publication rules
A member cannot access a page	Check page user criteria using that member's groups and account state
A row is missing	Check row Enabled and schedule, then the parent page; a section whose viewable dynamic blocks all return no output can also disappear
A block is missing	Check its Enabled state, criteria, containing row and required content
A global placement is missing	Check both the placement and shared source; both must be available
An image is missing	Confirm an image is uploaded, check the selected language and narrow-screen hiding option; XML does not include files
A widget is empty	Confirm its key exists, its display conditions pass and it can render outside its original context
Forum threads does not show the expected content	Select the intended forum and check the visitor's forum/thread access; redirect threads are excluded
Featured resources is empty	Check Resource Manager, featured status, resource/category permissions and ignored authors
Translated text falls back to master	Fill the applicable language fields; FAQ, tab and step items have completeness rules
FAQ translation will not save	Supply both the translated question and answer, or leave both empty
Tabs or steps fail validation	Complete required master items and translated item pairs; remove unfinished extra items
A countdown is wrong or absent	Check target time and displayed time zone, required completion message and hide-at-expiry setting
Columns remain stacked on desktop	Check widths and whether Sequential blocks is selected in the Default page layout
Phone layout overflows	Review narrow widths, custom HTML, embedded media, widget templates and comparison mobile layout
Page is missing from XenForo search	Check publication, criteria and Include in search; rebuild the page search index for existing content if needed
A phrase in a widget cannot be found in page search	Dynamic block output is not indexed as static page text
Page is missing from sitemap	Check guest access, publication, sitemap inclusion, noindex and the last sitemap rebuild
A social preview has old text	Confirm the page metadata and guest access; the sharing service may retain its own cached preview
ZIP actions are missing	Ask the server administrator to check PHP ZipArchive support
Imported page uses different shared text	A destination global block with the same key is reused
Imported translations are missing	Check language codes/titles on the destination; unmatched languages are skipped
Imported forum or widget is wrong	Review site-specific forum IDs and widget keys; these systems are not transferred
Imported FAQ fails validation	XML may have removed attachment-only answer content; use a ZIP export with files
CSS will not save	Correct the syntax reported by optional CSS validation
Appearance differs between sites	Page exports do not include the XenForo style or its style properties

Investigate without losing the working page​

Use Duplicate page to make a disabled copy before experimenting with content or layout. Global placements still share their sources; detach a placement before changing shared content for a local experiment.

Information for a support request​

Include:

• XenForo, Page Builder and Core Library versions; Resource Manager version when relevant.
• The affected block type and expected result.
• Whether the issue occurs for guests, members or a particular group.
• Page, row and block availability settings.
• Active style, language and approximate viewport width.
• Reproduction steps and relevant XenForo server error log text.
• A screenshot showing the exact setting or result.

Avoid posting private member information or credentials.

Check schedule status and parent availability when content is missing.
