To use this add-on, you need to obtain your own API keys​

This add-on supports both TheGamesDB.net (TGDB) and IGDB.com APIs. You will need to obtain your own API keys for each service. Follow these steps:

TGDB API Key​

1. Create an account
   Go to TheGamesDB.net and sign up for a free account if you don’t already have one.
2. Log in to your account and navigate to the API key section
   Click API Access Request in the footer.
3. Request API Access
   Click *Fill in the required information. Confirm the request.
4. Copy your API key
   Once approved, your API key will appear in the list.
5. Enter the key in the add-on settings
   Go to the add-on settings and paste your API key in the designated field.

IGDB API Key​

1. Create a Twitch Developer account
   Go to the Twitch Developer Console and log in or sign up.
2. Register your application
   Click Applications and then Register Your Application. Fill in the required details.
3. Get your Client ID and Client Secret
   After registering, you’ll receive a Client ID and Client Secret.
4. Enter the credentials in the add-on settings
   Go to the add-on settings and enter your IGDB Client ID and Client Secret in the designated fields.

Note​

• The TGDB API enforces a monthly query limit. If your site exceeds this limit, TheGamesDB.net will return errors and imports will fail.
• IGDB API usage is subject to Twitch’s rate limits and terms of service.
