This update expands recurring scheduling with new publication controls and dynamic placeholders.
Smarter Scheduling, More Flexible Publishing!
New Features
- Added recurrence limits to stop publishing after a selected date or a maximum number of publications.
- Added an optional compact scheduled publication menu with a clock button for quick reply forms.
- Added placeholders for scheduled content, allowing publication dates, times, counters, usernames, and custom date formats to be inserted automatically when content is published. Placeholders are preserved for recurring schedules, so each publication is generated with the correct values.
Improvements
- Reworked the scheduling system to better separate one-time and recurring publications.
- Improved how scheduled content integrates with content visibility system for more consistent publishing and indexing.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed scheduled profile post comments appearing in comment listings.
- Fixed the content schema not being applied when a supported add-on was installed after this add-on.
- Fixed schedule edit permission checks to properly respect the underlying content's edit permission.
- Fixed recurrence length validation incorrectly rejecting valid day, hour, and month intervals greater than 53.
- Fixed recurring threads continuing after their recurrence schedule had been exhausted, which could result in duplicate publishing.
- Fixed Every N Months recurrences always using a one-month interval instead of the configured value.
- Fixed recurring threads and posts skipping an entire recurrence interval because the publish date was advanced twice.
- Fixed a potential invalid SQL query when publishing a scheduled conversation with no recipients.
- Fixed Lessons classroom scheduling checking Quiz permissions instead of Lessons permissions.
- Prevented recurring scheduling for Groups posts and comments, as this integration does not support recurring schedules.
- Fixed unpublished scheduled thread and post edits not being reflected at publication when placeholders were used.
- Fixed the calendar feed ignoring the selected date range when listing pending and published items.
- Fixed hourly and daily recurring schedules deactivating instead of catching up after delayed cron execution.
