Giveaway Threads adds a dedicated giveaway thread type where members can enter to win prizes through a button or by replying. Organizers can offer multiple prizes, schedule entries, configure participation requirements, draw winners automatically or manually, and manage prize claims and delivery.

Use dedicated giveaway forums or integrate giveaways into regular discussions, with countdowns, winner announcements, entry tracking, and member notifications.

• Multiple Prizes: Offer different prizes with individual titles, descriptions, quantities, and optional images. Each member enters once and can win one prize.
• Prize Images: Upload images for individual prizes and display them with XenForo's native image viewer, independently of the giveaway cover image.

FAQ:​

• Can a giveaway offer different prizes? Yes. Add each prize separately and set how many copies are available. Members enter the whole giveaway, and each winner receives one specific copy.
• Can winners be selected manually? Yes. Each giveaway can use random or manual winner selection, and moderators with the draw permission can always pick or replace winners by hand. Authors can do so only in giveaways with manual selection.
• Can members enter by replying to the thread? Yes. The entry method can be set per forum and, when allowed by the forum, per giveaway.
• What happens if a winner does not respond? When a prize confirmation period is set, winners who do not confirm in time are automatically replaced by a randomly drawn entrant. In giveaways with manual selection, the prize copy is left unawarded for the organizer to fill.
• Can guests enter giveaways? No. Guests can view giveaways but must log in or register to enter.
