Control who can vote in individual XenForo polls using per-poll whitelists and blacklists.
Poll authors and moderators with permission to edit a poll can allow everyone to vote, restrict voting to selected users, or exclude specific users.
Features:
Per-Poll Access Modes: Choose between everyone, user whitelist, user blacklist, user-group whitelist, or user-group blacklist for each poll.
User Whitelist: Allow only selected members to vote.
User Blacklist: Prevent selected members from voting while keeping voting available to everyone else.
User Group Whitelist: Allow members of selected user groups to vote.
User Group Blacklist: Prevent members of selected user groups from voting.
Allowed Group Choices: Administrators can control which user groups are available for whitelist and blacklist selection.
Change Access Permission: Dedicated permission controls who can configure poll voting access.
User Autocomplete: Select individual members using XenForo's native token input.
Create & Edit Support: Configure voting access when creating, converting, or editing polls.
Draft Support: Preserve voting access settings in thread drafts and pre-registration data.
Useful for:
Private Polls: Limit voting to invited members or selected groups.
Staff Decisions: Restrict voting to specific staff or team groups.
Voting Exclusions: Prevent selected members or groups from participating.
Controlled Decisions: Define exactly who can participate without restricting who can view the poll.
Group-Based Voting: Create polls specifically for selected membership levels, roles, or teams.
